Hobart, August 20: A woman appeared in Hobart Magistrates Court in Tasmania on Monday, August 19, over a video of her performing a sex act on a trout fish on a boat. At the court, she requested an adjournment without entering a plea. The woman faces three charges related to bestiality material allegedly produced between February 2022 and January 2023.

According to a report published in The Mercury, the woman, identified as Catherine Lee June (58), is charged with one count of possession of a bestiality product and two counts of making or reproducing a bestiality product. Police allege that the bestiality product in question is a video depicting sexual activity between Lee and a live brown trout. Hallam, from Dolphin Sands, faced court in May but has not yet entered a plea. He is charged with two counts of making or reproducing a bestiality product and three counts of possessing a bestiality product, all related to the same video. Both the accused were arrested and charged in February 2023. The court has granted Ms. Lee an adjournment until October. Police have reminded the public that possessing or distributing bestiality material is a criminal offence.
