Washington, February 20: The United States President Donald Trump on Wednesday morning welcomed Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders and described his as a "Crazy Bernie." After the Vermont Senator announced his second bid for the presidency, the United States President Donald Trump tweeted, "Crazy Bernie has just entered the race. I wish him well!" Tulsi Gabbard Says 'Proud to Be 1st Hindu-American to Run for President'.

Replying to Trump's crazy remark, Sanders said, "What’s crazy is that we have a president who is a racist, a sexist, a xenophobe and a fraud. We are going to bring people together and not only defeat Trump but transform the economic and political life of this country."

Sanders reply to Trump:

Senator Sanders taking a dig a Trump’s withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement said we need a president who understands the climate change. "We need a president who understands that climate change is real, is an existential threat to our country and the entire planet, and that we can generate massive job creation by transforming our energy system away from fossil fuels to energy efficiency and sustainable energy," Sanders wrote in his official twitter handle.

The "Crazy" remark for Sanders is nothing new, Trump has been using this nickname since 2016 presidential race, when Hillary Clinton defeated Sanders in the Democratic primaries. “If Crooked Hillary Clinton can’t close the deal on Crazy Bernie, how is she going to take on China, Russia, ISIS and all of the others?” Trump tweeted in May 2016.
