Kabul, November 8: At least eight civilians were killed after three mortars hit near residential houses in Naw Abad area in Ghazni city of Afghanistan. According to reports, seven people were also sustained injuries in the attack near residential houses. Provincial police spokesman Wahidullah Juma confirmed it to TOLO News. Till now, no terror group has claimed the responsibility of the attack. Injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital. Recently, a report has revealed that Taliban violence in Afghanistan has increased by 50 percent in the past three months as the peace talks in Doha were at an impasse. The report by the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) was released on Saturday. It said that the Taliban violence drastically increased in Afghanistan during August, September and November.
