Afghan Girl, Armed With AK-47, Kills Two Taliban Terrorists After They Murdered Her Parents
An Afghan girl shot dead Taliban militants and wounded several others after they killed her parents because they supported the government, local officials said. According to reports, the incident took place last week when a group of 40 militants attacked the village of Geriveh in central Ghor province, where Qamar Gul, 16, was living with her parents and brother.

The Taliban came to her house because her father was a government supporter. When her mother went to see who was knocking she was shot dead by militants. The attackers then killed her father, Qamar Gul witnessed the death of her parents in front of her. She picked her father's Ak-47 and killed two insurgents.
Later more Terrorists came to attack Gul, but were beaten back by some villagers and pro-government militia. A picture of Gul has gone viral on social media. Meanwhile, the girl and her younger brother have been shifted to a safe place in the provincial capital.
Ghor is one of the most underdeveloped provinces of Afghanistan and the incidences of violence against women are hight. The Afghan government has praised Qamar Gul's bravery and President Ashraf Ghani has invited her to the presidential palace.
