World Diabetes Day is observed annually on November 14. The aim is to raise awareness about the disease. Diabetes mellitus (DM), commonly referred to as diabetes, is a group of metabolic diseases characterised by high blood sugar levels over a long period of time. As per the International Diabetes Foundation (IDF), the disease led to 67 lakh deaths in 2021. In order to prevent this disease, awareness is very significant.
