Vizag Gas Leak Kills 11: It’s Not Just Bhopal, Other Major Gas Leaks In India Over The Years

On May 7, the nation woke up to the tragic news of a major gas leak in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The styrene gas leak started in the wee hours around 3 am from LG Polymers chemical plant. The tragic incident has left 11 people dead and over 1000 people sick. However, this isn’t the first time post the Bhopal gas tragedy that gas leaks have resulted in deaths and illnesses in India.
