Vir Das, Nawazuddin Siddiqui At International Emmy Awards 2021
It was a no win for Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sushmita Sen's Aarya and Vir Das at the 49th International Emmy Awards. Nawazuddin Siddiqui was nominated for ‘Best Actor’ for ‘Serious Men’. The Emmy award went to Scottish actor David Tennant. David Tennant won the award for Des. Nawazuddin Siddiqui tweeted, “It’s always your choice that you will be remembered for and not for whether you win or lose.” Sushmita Sen’s Aarya also could not bag the Best Drama award. The award was won by Israeli production Tehran. Vir Das' comedy special lost Best Comedy award to hit French show Call My Agent!
