Vinisha Umashankar, Earthshot Prize Finalist From Tamil Nadu, Gives Stirring Speech At COP26, Glasgow

Vinisha Umashankar, a 14-year-old girl from Tamil Nadu in India, gave a stirring speech at the COP26 summit in Glasgow. Umashankar said that her generation is angry and frustrated at world leaders who have made empty promises. The young girl is one of the finalists of the Earthshot Prize. Umashankar was invited by Prince William to speak at the event. PM Modi, UK PM Boris Johnson, US President Joe Biden attended the event and watched on as the young girl made a stirring speech.
