Vat Savitri is an auspicious fasting festival. It holds special significance in Sanatan Dharma. It is believed that on this day, worshipping Lord Vishnu and circling around the banyan tree fulfills your prayers about a happy married life. As per religious texts, the branches and the logs of the Vat tree are considered to be the form of Mother Savitri. This year the festival will be observed on May 30.
