Vanniyar Community's 10.5 Reservation In Jobs In Tamil Nadu Cancelled By Supreme Court

On March 31, Vanniyar Community's 10.5 reservation in jobs in Tamil Nadu was cancelled by the Supreme Court. The apex court called it unconstitutional & a violation of the right to equality, reported NDTV. The Supreme Court said, “We are of the opinion that there is no basis to treat Vanniyars as a separate group compared to other backward classes.” Watch the video to know more.
