US President Joe Biden Test Drives Ford Electric Truck, Ignores Question On Israel-Palestine

In a visit to Ford Motor Co.'s electric vehicle plant in Dearborn, Michigan, President Joe Biden pushed the future of electric vehicles ahead of the car company releasing their all-electric F-150 Lightning pickup truck on Wednesday. The new cars were behind Biden as he spoke about electric vehicles as the “future of the auto industry.” Following his speech, he not only got a first look at the new pickup truck but made an unscheduled stop as he was allowed to test drive one around a nearby track. When queried by a journalist whether she could ask him a question about ongoing fighting in Israel, Biden snapped in a mock rebuke: "No you can't. Not unless you get in front of the car as I step on it.” Journalists, Ford executives and White House staffers hurriedly got out the way. Biden floored the accelerator to disappear across the tarmac a second time. Biden was racing around in a yet-to-be-sold Ford truck to promote his $2 trillion infrastructure plan.
