On May 31, Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi slammed the Modi government saying that India needs job security and economic prosperity. Gandhi’s reaction comes after a news report stated that the Culture Ministry plans to study 'racial purity'. Gandhi tweeted, “India wants job security & economic prosperity, not 'racial purity', Prime Minister.” However, the official Twitter handle of the Ministry of Culture tweeted, “The Article - Culture Ministry to Study ‘Racial Purity’ of Indians, in Morning Standard on 28th May is misleading, mischievous and contrary to facts.” Watch the video to know more.
