Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan & Other Indian Politicians Who Tested Positive For Coronavirus
Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted on August 4 that he had tested positive for coronavirus and was admitted to a hospital on the advice of his doctors. Pradhan, who described himself as "healthy", has been admitted to the Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon near Delhi. Former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa & his daughter, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress MP Karti Chidambaram, Shiv Sena leader Abdul Sattar and Congress’ Aslam Shaikh, NCP ministers Dhananjay Munde, Jitendra Awhad, PWD Minister Ashok Chavan, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP leader Jyotiraditya Scindia, Tamil Nadu Labour Minister Nilofer Kafeel, Uttarakhand Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj, Tamil Nadu governor Banwarilal Purohit have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. On August 2, Uttar Pradesh minister Kamal Rani Varun, 62, died at Lucknow's Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Science after testing positive.
