Umar Akmal Banned From All Forms Of Cricket For Three Years by Pakistan Cricket Board

Pakistan cricketer Umar Akmal was banned for three years from all forms of cricket by PCB for corruption charges. The announcement was made on April 27, 2020 (Monday) by Chairman of the Disciplinary Panel, Mr Justice (retired) Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan after a short hearing. Akmal was charged with two breaches of Article 2.4.4 of the PCB Anti-Corruption Code in two unrelated incidents. The 29-year-old’s last appearance for Pakistan was in October 2019 in a T20I game against Sri Lanka.
