Ukraine Wins Eurovision, Winner Goes Off To Fight In War Against Russia Day After

On May 15, Ukraine’s Kalush Orchestra won the Eurovision Song Contest in Italy, reported Al Jazeera. Stefania, the winning song, was sung in Ukrainian. The song was a tribute for band frontman Oleh Psiuk’s mother, reported Al Jazeera. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrainian President said, “Our courage impresses the world, our music conquers Europe!” The band’s frontman Oleh Psiuk kissed his girlfriend goodbye to join the frontline in Ukraine's ongoing war against Russia, reported mailonline.
