Two-Headed Snake Found In West Bengal’s Belda

A two headed snake was found in Weat Bengal’s West Midnapore. It was found in the Ekarukhi village of Belda forest range. The species of snake is identified as ‘Naja Kaouthia’. Zoologist Soma Chakraborty told ANI, “The species of the two-headed snake is ‘Naja Kaouthia’, which is locally known as ‘Keute’ or in hindi ‘Kala Naag’. The venom of this snake is neurotoxic.”
