TMC Youth Wing President Saayoni Ghosh Arrested By Tripura Police, TMC MPs To Seek Meeting With Amit Shah In Protest

On November 21, violence was witnessed in BJP-ruled Tripura. TMC leader and actor Saayoni Ghosh was arrested by the police. TMC Youth Wing President Ghosh has been accused of attempt to murder. And now, TMC has decided to take the issue to Delhi. On November 21 night, more than 15 MPs flew from Kolkata to Delhi. These MPs have sought an appointment with Union Home Minister Amit Shah. TMC said it will sit on dharna in Delhi on November 22. Sushmita Dev, TMC leader said, “Tripura police is biased.” On November 22, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and party’s national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee will reach Tripura. Banerjee tweeted, “Democracy being mocked under the BJP in Tripura.” Watch the video to know more.
