‘The Kerala Story’: Bengal To Ban The Adah Sharma Film To Avoid Incident Of Hatred And Violence, Says CM Mamata Banerjee
On May 8, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that the film ‘The Kerala Story’ will be banned in the state. Banerjee said the film has been banned, “to avoid any incident of hatred and violence, and to maintain peace in the state,” reported ANI. Meanwhile, Union minister Anurag Thakur said Bengal is not doing right by banning the film. ‘The Kerala Story’ has been written and directed by Sudipto Sen. The film featuring Adah Sharma is about the alleged conversion of young Hindu women to Islam in Kerala. Watch the video to know more.
