On February 14, T Rabi Sankar, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank Of India (RBI) said that cryptocurrencies are akin to Ponzi schemes or even worse and banning these is the most advisable option for India. T Rabi Sankar said that cryptocurrencies have no intrinsic value.
