Southwest Monsoon Arrives Early, IMD Confirms Onset Of Rainy Season In Kerala

On May 29, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the southwest monsoon has set in over Kerala. As per the weather department, the southwest monsoon has set in over Kerala three days ahead of its normal onset date of June 1. Earlier, the IMD had forecast onset over Kerala on May 27.
