Sharad Pawar’s Party Gets ‘Man Blowing Turha’ As New Symbol By Election Commission

On February 22, the Election Commission of India allotted "man blowing turha (a traditional trumpet)" as the symbol of the Nationalist Congress Party-Sharadchandra Pawar. Party Spokesperson Clyde Crasto Told PTI, “Our candidates will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls on this symbol.” This comes days after the Election Commission awarded the NCP name and 'clock' symbol to the Ajit Pawar faction. Sharad Pawar-led NCP split in July last year after Ajit Pawar and eight other MLAs joined the Eknath Shinde government in Maharashtra. Watch the video to know more.
