Schools Reopening In India: Ministry Of Education Issues SOPs; Says, 'No Assessment Up To 2–3 Weeks'; Here’s The Complete List Of Guidelines
Ministry of Education on October 5 released guidelines for reopening of schools from October 15, 2020 in a graded manner. The Ministry has urged the States & Union Territories to prepare their own Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) for health, hygiene, safety and learning with physical & social distancing. Guidelines have been issued in accordance with the Department of School education and Literacy (DoSEL). The Ministry said that States/UTs may adopt or adapt the standard Operating procedure (SOPs) as per local context & requirements. Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that students may attend schools only with the written consent of the parents. Watch the video to know the complete list of guidelines.
