INDIA Team Latestly|

Schools and other educational institutes across the country are reopening in various states in a graded manner. While many states have already reopened the schools for few classes, some have decided to reopen schools from November 2, 2020. Along with these states, Kendriya Vidyalaya and Navodaya Vidyalaya have also planned to reopen schools across the country for classes 9 to 12 from November 2. Under the latest Unlock 5 guidelines, schools and coaching institutes were allowed to reopen in a phased manner from October 15. States and Union Territories have been given a free hand to decide whether they want to reopen these institutions. Thus, states have been empowered to decide if they want to keep schools shut. Ministry of Education has issued detailed guidelines about the standard operating procedures (SOPs) that will have to be followed in schools once physical classes resume amid the novel coronavirus pandemic. Watch the video to know which states have allowed schools to reopen and those that have not yet.
