Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Rajasthan Royals by eight wickets in IPL 2025 at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on March 26. This was the defending champions' first victory in IPL 2025 after they lost their campaign opener to Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Rajasthan Royals were put to bat first by KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane and the hosts were restricted to 151/9. Varun Chakaravarthy (2/17) and Moeen Ali (2/23) were the best bowlers for KKR. The pace duo of Harshit Rana (2/36) and Vaibhav Arora (2/33) also were amongst the wickets. In response, KKR chased down the target in 17.3 overs.
