Rishi Kapoor passed away in a Mumbai hospital on April 30 after battling cancer for two years. Rishi Kapoor’s wife Neetu Kapoor and his son Ranbir Kapoor organised a prayer meet for the late legendary actor at their Mumbai residence. A picture from the prayer meet is doing the rounds on internet and has been shared by several fan pages. Neetu Kapoor and son Ranbir can be seen sitting next to a photo of the late actor in their home. On May 3, Rishi Kapoor’s ashes were immersed in Banganga. Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni were present during the immersion. Ayan Mukerji and Alia Bhatt were also seen with the Kapoors. Rishi Kapoor’ last rites were performed on April 30 at Mumbai’s Chandanwadi crematorium with only family members. Rishi Kapoor's daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni couldn't attend his funeral as she wasn't present in the city. She watched the funeral via video call. Riddhima was granted permission to drive to Mumbai from Delhi amid the coronavirus lockdown. Riddhima and her daughter Samara Sahni arrived in Mumbai on May 2
