Remembering Udham Singh, Indian Revolutionary Who Avenged Jallianwala Bagh Massacre

The Year 2019 marks the 120th birth anniversary of Shaheed Udham Singh. Udham Singh killed Michael O’Dwyer on March 13, 1940, to take revenge of Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. O'Dwyer was governor of Punjab when Colonel Reginald Dyer opened fire on the peaceful protesters. The freedom fighter was then tried and hanged on July 31, 1940.
