Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has once again got everyone talking about nepotism in the industry. In a series of tweets, Raveena Tandon agreed that camps exist as do "mean girls". Raveena, daughter of producer Ravi Tandon and a top star of the 90s, also revealed that she had also been made a target of "dirty politics”. Raveen Tandon also shared her thoughts on the role of the media, "chamcha journos”. Despite being born into the industry, Raveena Tandon said that it had happened to her. "The more they tried to bury me, the harder I fought back," she tweeted. Actor Prakash Raj wrote that Sushant Singh Rajput couldn’t survive nepotism and asked, “will WE learn .. will WE really stand up and not let such dreams die.” Ranvir Shorey who attended Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral shared a glaring example of how Bollywood families in the film industry work. Actor Vivek Oberoi also called on Bollywood to "b***h less and care more.” Actor Nikhil Dwivedi said, “At times our movie industry's hypocrisy gets to me.” Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha said the Bollywood privilege club should sit down and think hard. Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur had tweeted that he knew Sushant was in pain.
