Ratha Yatra is a popular procession that is held annually in Odisha. The festival, also known as 'Chariot festival', is held especially in the city of Puri. The festival is celebrated with great zeal and it attracts millions of devotees and tourists from around the world. This year, the date of Ratha Yatra 2024, as per the Hindu calendar, will be celebrated on July 7. Rath Yatra Dwitiya Tithi will begin on July 7 at 04:26 AM and end on July 8 at 04:59 AM. During this festival, chariots are beautifully decorated and the procession passes through the streets to represent the annual journey of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and their sister Subhadra to their aunt's Gundicha Temple.
