On January 21, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman while citing a Tamil daily's reportage, alleged that the Tamil Nadu government administered temples have barred puja for Lord Ram on January 22. The grand inauguration of the Ram mandir will take place in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on January 22. The state of Tamil Nadu has dismissed the allegations as false news with ulterior motives. Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Minister, P K Sekar Babu said there is no such ban. Watch the video to know more.
