On October 27, Rahul Gandhi, senior Congress leader welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to form a committee to look into the Pegasus spyware case. The top court of the country has ordered the formation of a committee to look into the matter. It has been alleged that Israeli-made Pegasus software was used to snoop on politicians, journalists, activists in the country. Rahul Gandhi said, Pegasus, can only be bought by a government. Therefore, Gandhi said that either Prime Minister of the country or the Home Minister had given the go-ahead.
