The nation-wide lockdown has meant that drivers haven’t earned any money since March 24, 2020. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi posted a photo of himself in a chat with an Uber driver in Delhi. Co-incidentally a day after this post, Uber India has announced that it is laying off 600 employees – as part of its global layoffs.
