Rafale Jets For IAF: Fresh Batch Takes Off From France For India, IAF Thanks UAE For Mid-Air Refuelling

The fourth batch of the Rafale jets arrived in India on March 31 evening after flying non-stop from France. The three jets were refuelled mid-air over UAE. Earlier, the Indian Embassy in France had tweeted a video that showed the jets taking off for their long journey to India. India is to receive 36 Rafale jets from France's Dassault Aviation, as per the inter-governmental deal. India had received the first batch of five planes in July last year, four years after the agreement. A second batch of three Rafale jets arrived in India on November 3 last year, while a third batch of three more jets joined arrived in India on January 27 this year.
