Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations have begun in full swing. Tens of thousands of people converged on central London for the start of four days of public events to mark Queen Elizabeth's historic 70 years on the throne. The celebrations started with the parade called Trooping the Colour at Buckingham Palace. To mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee more than 70 aircrafts including the Red Arrows, Apache helicopters, and Typhoons flew over Buckingham Palace. The spectacular show lasted for six minutes on day one of the celebrations. RAF BBMF tweeted, “Today we were proud to be a part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Flypast, celebrating Her Majesty’s historic reign of 70 years.” Meanwhile, people cheered as Queen Elizabeth II appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on the first day of celebrations.
