Punjab: Blast In Ludhiana District Court Complex, One Dead, Atleast Four Injured As Per Initial Reports

On December 23, a blast was reported inside a court complex in Ludhiana, Punjab. Reports put the Death Toll at two people but the Police have confirmed only fatality so far, while Two to four have suffered serious injuries in the blast. Reportedly, the explosion took place around 12:22 pm in a washroom on the second floor of the building. Walls of the bathroom got damaged due to the intensity of the blast and glass panes of nearby rooms were left shattered. Police have cordoned off the area and fire tenders have reached the spot. Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has promised action against the guilty. Amarinder Singh, former Punjab Chief Minister tweeted, “Disturbing news of a blast at Ludhiana court complex.” Watch the video to know more.
