Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on March 24th at 8pm to talk about the Coronavirus Pandemic and the steps being taken by his government. The prime minister announced a complete lockdown across the country for three weeks starting from midnight of March 25. He said these three weeks were crucial if the country were stave off the spread of COVID-19 in India. India has reported 500 cases of the COVID-19 infection with 10 deaths until March 24.
