On November 2, at the COP26 summit in Glasgow, PM Modi said, “Solar energy is totally clean and sustainable.” The plan "Green Grids Initiative - One Sun One World One Grid" was launched at the COP26 summit in Scotland. PM Modi also spoke at the launch of ‘Infrastructure for Resilient Island States’ initiative. PM Modi also listed out the five commitments that will power the fight against climate change at the summit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “The world has taken note of how India is the only large economy to have delivered on the Paris commitments in letter and spirit.” PM Modi also shared a glimpse of India’s track record to further sustainable development.
