Parkash Singh Badal Dies At 95; PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi & Others Express Grief Over Former Punjab CM’s Demise

Parkash Singh Badal died on April 25 at a private hospital in Mohali, Punjab. The five-time former chief minister of Punjab was 95. Parkash Singh Badal was hospitalised a week back. The veteran leader was facing difficulty while breathing. PM Narendra Modi tweeted, “Extremely saddened by the passing away of Shri Parkash Singh Badal Ji.” Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and others also expressed grief.
