Indian Classical Vocalist Pandit Jasraj has died. The legendary musician was 90-years old. The passing away of Pandit Jasraj was announced by his daughter Durga Jasraj, according to news agency Press Trust of India. The Hindustani vocalist maestro belonged to the Mewati Gharana and had been introduced to the classical art by his father, Pandit Pratap Narayan. Pandit Jasraj had been bestowed with various awards an recognitions in his career which preceded an independent India. He was a Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan awardee
