Padma Awards 2024 Winners: Venkaiah Naidu, Mithun Chakraborty, Usha Uthup & Others Conferred With Prestigious Award By President Droupadi Murmu

On April 22, former vice president M Venkaiah Naidu, actor-turned-politician Mithun Chakraborty, singer Usha Uthup, tennis player Rohan Bopanna & many other prominent personalities were conferred with Padma awards. President Droupadi Murmu presented the awards. Founder of Sulabh International, Bindeshwar Pathak, posthumously & renowned Bharatanatyam dancer Padma Subrahmanyam were conferred with the Padma Vibhushan. Former Uttar Pradesh governor Ram Naik and industrialist Sitaram Jindal were conferred with the Padma Bhushan. Padma Awards, one of the highest civilian honours of the country, are conferred in three categories - Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri. Watch the video to know more.
