Onion Prices Skyrocket, Touch Rs 100/Kg Mark

The onion prices are skyrocketing due to unseasonal rains in producing states. Onions are being sold at Rs 80 per kilogram in Nagpur market. The price touched Rs 100/kg in Kolkata market. Soaring prices of onions across the nation are burning holes in household budgets. One of the buyers said, “Upper level should look to it. It is a staple vegetable in the household.”
