Omicron Case Tally Crosses 150 In India, Delhi Records First Covid-19 Death In 10 Days
On December 20, India's Omicron Covid-19 count crossed 150. Karnataka has reported five more cases of Omicron variant. Omicron cases have been found in 11 states and union territories. Maharashtra has recorded 54 cases so far. On December 20, India recorded 6,563 new Covid-19 cases and 132 deaths. As per the Health Ministry, with 8,077 recoveries, the active cases in the country stood at 82,267. On December 19, 7,081 people tested positive for Covid-19 in India in a day. On December 19, India’s tally of coronavirus cases reached 3,47,40,275. As per the Union Health Ministry, active cases declined to 83,913, the lowest in 570 days. Meanwhile, Delhi reported over a hundred cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours. With 107 new cases, Delhi also reported one Covid-19 related death - a first in 10 days. Watch the video to know more.
