Nykaa Owner Falguni Nayar Becomes India's Richest Self-Made Female Billionaire With The E-Commerce Firm's IPO Launch

On November 10, Falguni Nayar, Nykaa’s founder, is now among the world’s richest. This comes after Nykaa made a blockbuster debut, its parent company FSN E-Commerce Ventures Limited floating on the Mumbai stock exchange. Nayar, who owns about half of Nykaa, is now worth about $6.5 billion. Falguni Nayar has become India's wealthiest self-made female billionaire, as per Bloomberg Billionaires Index. FSN E-Commerce Ventures Limited is India's first woman-led unicorn to hit the stock exchange. Nayar founded Nykaa in 2012 just months before turning 50. Falguni Nayar was an investment banker for nearly 20 years before she founded Nykaa. Watch the video to know more.
