Nivin Pauly Sexual Assault Case: Malayalam Actor Calls Rape Allegations ‘Baseless’, Says ‘I Don’t Know That Girl’

Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly was named as the sixth accused in a sexual assault complaint filed by a woman on September 3. Shortly after the news surfaced, he held a late-night press conference where he denied the allegations, calling it a conspiracy. Pauly also stated that he did not know the woman who filed the complaint. Nivin Pauly also said that he would fight it legally and mentioned that it was a fake complaint. The woman, from Ernakulam district, in her complaint, alleged that Pauly sexually abused her at a hotel in Dubai last year after promising her a role in a film. However, Nivin Pauly has denied the allegations.
