Nirmala Sitharaman Tables Economic Survey 2022 Prior As Budget Session Of Parliament Begins

On January 31, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tabled the annual Economic Survey. The survey was tabled a day before the Budget. The survey predicted that India will see an economic growth of 8 to 8.5 per cent for the economy in the 2022-23 fiscal year, reported NDTV. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said discussions in the Budget session of parliament should not be overtaken by the state elections ahead.
