Chopra beat Czech Republic duo of Jakub Vadlejch and Vitezslav Vesely, to clinch his gold. The 23-year old’s gold has brought joy to millions of Indians who had almost given up hope of seeing a gold medal in India’s 2020 Olympics tally as the games come to a close on Aug 8, 2021.
