Navjot Singh Sidhu Slapped With Defamation Notice By Chandigarh DSP, Wants 'Unconditional Apology'

Navjot Singh Sidhu, Punjab Congress chief, has landed himself in trouble. Sidhu has been slapped with a defamation notice by a Chandigarh police officer. A video of one of his speeches, which has gone viral now, shows Sidhu praising two party members for being capable of making policemen wet their pants. Dilsher Singh Chandel, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Chandigarh said that he has sent a defamation notice to Sidhu. In his notice, DSP Chandel has sought unconditional public apology from Sidhu in writing and through print, electronic and social media. Former chief minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh slammed Sidhu for his comments.
