National Doctors’ Day is celebrated on July 1 every year. The aim is to honour the medics in our lives. In India, National Doctors' Day is observed in the memory of the legendary physician and the second Chief Minister of West Bengal, Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy who was born on July 1, 1882.
