Nagpur Lights Up 60-Ft-Tall Lamp, CST In Mumbai Lit Up For PM Narendra Modi’s 9PM, 9Minutes Appeal

A 60-ft-long lamp was lit in Nagpur, Maharashtra after PM Narendra Modi’s appeal. The lamp was lit in Nagpur’s Jerryl Lawns to show solidarity to health care workers, doctors, nurses and other essential service providers. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai was also illuminated on April 5 at 9 pm. PM Modi had appealed to all to switch off their lights and lit diyas or candles or torch for 9 minutes at 9 pm on April 5 amid the coronavirus outbreak in the country. The number of confirmed cases in India has reached 4067 with 109 deaths being reported
