Mumbai Sees Record Low Temperature In January After Unseasonal Rains, IMD Predicts More Cold Weather
The coastal city of Mumbai is seeing unusually cold winter nights due unseasonal rains a few days ago. January 10 saw the mercury dipping to 13 degrees Celsius in parts of the city. IMD predicts that on Tuesday, January 11 the minimum temperature could fall further to 12 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature too is between 4 to 6 degrees Celsius below normal for this time of the year. However, this spell of winter is only expected to last one more day with temperatures expected to go up January 12 onwards.
