Mumbai Rains Trains Services Resume, People Off to Work but Heavy Showers Predicted on July 3
The financial capital of the country got back to normalcy after less rainfall received in the last 24 hours. Train services resumed. However, the main runway of the Mumbai airport remains closed, a day after the Spicejet plane veered off the runway. Around 203 flights were cancelled since July 1 due to incessant rains. Around 40 lost their lives in rain related accidents in Maharashtra. IMD predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall in the afternoon on July 3.
